Good advice

“A novelist must preserve a child-like belief in the importance of things which common-sense considers of no importance,” [Somerset Maugham] wrote.

Dear Writers,

I found a helpful article when looking through some old resources.

http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/terence-blacker/terence-blacker-the-great-writers-guide-to-happiness-2285059.html

I started this blog with the intention of it keeping me honest with my writing schedule and habits.  It does, somewhat, in that when I don’t write I feel much like the Replacements’ song “Unsatisfied.”

At any rate, I found the above article extremely noteworthy and hope you do, too.

Be well and write on,

Rachael
